MONTANA INTERNET LEWISTOWN DNS
MIC maintains two DNS servers, one  at 206.127.64.130 and one at 206.127.64.131, with hostnames of lewis.mt.net and clark.mt.net respectively. We recommend that customers list both domain name servers where possible.

Primary
206 127 64 130
Secondary
206 127 64 131

MONTANA INTERNET
LEWISTOWN MAIL
The mail server is at mail.mt.net, with an IP address of 206.127.64.140. It supports SMTP, POP3 and IMAP. In most cases, whenever a program asks for the mail server address (either incoming or outgoing) they should put mail.mt.net in the appropriate field. On a rare occasion (the Mercury mail transport program, for instance), a program requires the use of the IP address instead. We HIGHLY recommend that you do not use the IP address unless it is absolutely required by the software you are using.
POP3 mail.mt.net
SMTP mail.mt.net

How Do I Post My Website on MIC.

It is assumed that you have a website and you know where it is located on your computer and that you also have a basic understanding of what an FTP client is and how it works. The first step is to setup your FTP client, such as WSFTP or CuteFTP to name a few. Most FTP clients require (who, what, and where) information. Below is the basic information your FTP client will need to access your webpage space. The information provided here is for connection proposes only and not intended to be a course on how to use an FTP client. If you do not understand how to use FTP we strongly suggest you read the manual before you begin your transfer session.
